Our client is a global leader that covers the entire supply chain process from producer to end customer. It is currently in search of a Controller Group Reporting & Consolidation Lead.

Controller Group Reporting & Consolidation Lead, Rotterdam, Netherlands

 

Responsibilities of the Controller Group Reporting & Consolidation Lead

Within this role, you will be involved in the preparation of the monthly consolidation processes (in accordance with IFRS), and the preparation of the monthly management reporting and analysis.

 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing and approval of companies within the system
  • Supporting management and financial reporting to different levels of the organisation
  • Analysing reports to improve the control of the activities
  • Preparation of the weekly/monthly and quarterly management reports
  • Preparing and analysing cashflow
  • Generating half/full year group and standalone financial statements
  • Engaging with internal/external audit
  • Preparing accounting position papers for auditors/management and the board
  • Supporting the various ad-hoc activities

 

Experience required:

  • Accounting qualification or master’s in Finance/Economics or relevant area
  • Previous experience working within a similar role, preferably within one of the Big 4 firms
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS reporting standards
  • Proactive person with a strong drive for continuous improvement
  • Accurate, good analytical skills, proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Practical attitude, strong communication skills with a proactive demeanour
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn the company’s business
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
