EMEA Recruitment is pleased to be working exclusively with one of the world’s leading FMCG businesses in Rotterdam, in its search for a Senior Business Controller to join its exciting, growing business.

The role is for an experienced Business Controller to manage and coach two Controllers to partner with Sales, Retail and Marketing. The aim is to drive the commercial P&L of the business with process improvements, cost control and accountability.

For the successful candidate, you will have a scope to grow in a key business partner for the business, as well as a chance to progress your career to become a senior stakeholder. There is also an attractive salary and an excellent benefits package in an international working environment.

Senior Business Controller, Rotterdam, Netherlands

Key responsibilities of the Senior Business Controller:

• Coordinating, processing and executing forecasts, budget for the business (full P&L)
• Liaising as a key financial partner to all departments
• Delivering full business cases to Marketing Director on budgets for marketing
• Assisting with annual planning processes strategically in support of a 3-year plan for marketing and financial modelling 
• OPEX controlling and overall P&L
• Analysing variances with customers and controlling pricing
• Controllership of rebate agreements and settlements
• Forecast customer demand and oversee S&OP cycle

Job requirements:

• Management experience
• Min. 6 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in FMCG market
• Advanced experience in Excel, SAP and BI
• Strong business acumen, with excellent communication skills
• Driven, self-starter, strategic thinker
