EMEA Recruitment is pleased to be working with one of the world’s leading FMCG businesses in Rotterdam, who are looking for a Financial Controller to join their exciting and growing business.

The experienced Financial Controller will be responsible for corporate reporting, working closely with the business control teams, and lead the implementations of internal control systems.

For the successful Financial Controller, there is scope to grow as a key business partner for the business as well as a chance to progress your career to become a senior stakeholder internationally.

Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller:

• Responsible for COGNOS corporate reporting (income statement/balance sheet and other forms)
• Ensuring compliance with the business in partnership with Accounting and Controlling
• Designing and implementation of ICF (Internal Control Framework) and NFR (Non-Financial Reporting)
• Month closing activities
• Statutory audits
• Co-lead and support several upcoming projects

Requirements:

• A degree in Finance or Accounting (MSc)
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position and preferably Big 4 experience
• Experience with accounting and reporting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of SAP
• Knowledge and experience of various types of financial applications including BI tools
• Fluent English
