Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with an international logistics company, which is looking for an HR Business Partner to work with and provide assistance to business leaders on Human Resources policies and change management.

 

The HR Business Partner will report directly to the People Lead and will have a People Assistant reporting directly to them.

 

Due to the expansion and growth of this scale-up company, this is an exciting time to join the business. They currently have 50–100 employees in their warehouse and are looking to expand to least 250.

 

The role is based in Rotterdam and hybrid working is considered.

 

HR Business Partner, Rotterdam, Netherlands

 

Responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:

  • Partnering with and providing support to business leaders on HR policies and change management
  • Coordinating/executing organizational development initiatives
  • Providing consultative assistance to business managers on all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Recruiting key talent for the internal client for the organisation, working with external vendors and agencies where required
  • Ensuring HR polices are compliant with relevant legislation
  • Acting as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit
  • Cross-functional HR projects management
  • Designing succession plans for key talent and key job positions
  • Developing a positive working environment and culture

 

Experience required:

  • Significant experience in a Generalist/HR business role, ideally in an international company
  • Experience working within logistics/manufacturing environment preferable
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment, with a high energy level
  • Capable to handle situations with tact, maturity, confidentiality and sensitivity
  • Strong reporting and analysis skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, master’s in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
