EMEA Recruitment is pleased to share a new role with our client, a global leader in data and software services, currently looking for an Accountant to join its team in the Utrecht area.

The role is to join its shared service centre, where you will contribute to the reliability of Finance administration for several entities.

Responsibilities of the Accountant:

• Review financial transactions recorded over the period
• Compiling of periodic reports
• Preparing tax returns
• Conducting the financial administration
• Book prepayments and accruals on a quarterly basis
• Analyse and explain budget vs. actuals
• Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements based on Dutch GAAP
• Provide support with audits

Who are you?

• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Recent Graduate or 1-year accounting experience
• Able to work alone, but also a team player
• Ability to plan and organise
• Dutch and English – spoken and written
