My client, a large global business in the consumer goods market, seeks a Project Manager for Global Indirect Procurement Projects.


As a Project Manager for Global Indirect Procurement Projects, you will be responsible for leading the integration and harmonisation of Indirect Procurement strategy and major projects within the PMO office through a period of wider business transformation and centralisation.

My client is offering an excellent opportunity for a qualified Project Manager that has experience of Indirect Procurement strategic management or Indirect Procurement projects. This could cover either indirect materials and services, and we are looking for professionals that are confident across sourcing, supplier management and internal stakeholder management.


It is essential for this role that you have a basic project management toolkit and are familiar with some industry recognised project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, APM, Critical Path, CCP or PER, etc.



You will work closely with both the wider Global and Regional Indirect Procurement teams, the PMO office and the Global CPO to achieve optimal purchasing strategies and alignment during a transformational phase.


The successful candidate will therefore be an excellent communicator, with the ability to positively engage multi-disciplinary teams and secure cross-functional buy-in for projects. Experience of working in a cross-functional projects team or internally-focused business excellence team would be highly advantageous, as would experience in a matrix environment.


This position is a senior, standalone post and we therefore require confident and independent individuals that can set and manage their own workloads, and engage others to work towards shared goals. You must therefore be a proactive professional that is keen to push work forward, and inspired by the projects they are managing and can inspire other to come together on these projects. You will need to be highly organised and efficient.


This post will report directly into C level executives and, therefore, it is essential that project reporting is timely, concise and accurate.


As Project Manager within Global Indirect Procurement Projects, we are looking for high calibre candidates with the following skillset:

  • Educated to degree or equivalent level
  • Indirect Procurement experience – ideally from a large projects, regional or global strategic level
  • Experience or knowledge of professional project management tools and methodologies
  • High level of PC literacy, able to organise, plan and innovate, exemplary presentation skills
  • Ideally a formal project management qualification, such as PMP, Prince 2, etc.
