Job Description

We’re currently searching for an Associate Sales Director on behalf of our client, a very dynamic, global organization offering consumer and B2B products.


Associate Sales Director - Remote working, Germany


Due to strong drive and growth, they are looking to appoint an Associate Sales Director for Northern Europe, to take ownership for sustainably growing revenue and operating income through delivery of the B2B global strategy, increasing distribution and penetration.


The role can be performed from a home office from any location in Germany with easy access to an international airport.


The key responsibilities of the Associate Sales Director will include, but will not be limited to:


  • Create and deliver sales strategies
  • Play a crucial role in the success and business growth of the region
  • Delivering growth, targeting clients in multiple sectors, including medical, hospitality, public tenders and HORECA
  • Motivating and managing a team of KAMs
  • Complete accountability for the delivery of the Northern Europe revenue and profitability targets
  • Developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, profitability and expense controls
  • Communicate clearly the assistance required to drive growth
  • Manage forecasting with product supply to ensure optimal stock efficiencies for the region
  • Update management with forecast revisions and regular business updates
  • Actively manage existing customers, building senior relationships with decision-makers to increase revenue and operating income
  • Work effectively with Category Management, Marketing and other functions in the company
  • Grow expertise in targeted categories by attending tradeshows, market research and networking with industry experts
  • Track sales goals and reporting results as necessary




  • University degree in Business Development/Economics or a similar discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years of technical product field sales or related technical business development activities
  • Excellent relevant technical, communication and B2B sales skills
  • Highly motivated, a self-starter who is creative, organised, polished and positive, with excellent social skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate in a competitive environment and high resistance to pressure
  • Strong ability to develop efficient networking with customers
  • Demonstrable ability to develop and execute commercial strategies across multiple countries
  • High level of entrepreneurial spirit, combined with sense of accountability and ethical standards
  • Strong financial acumen, and affinity for financial analysis and data-driven decision-making
  • Experience of working as part of a multi-cultural and geographically dispersed team
  • Open-minded, self-starter and can-do approach
  • Willingness to travel frequently (35% of the time), both domestically and internationally
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Strong MS Office skills
