Job Description

My client, a large global business in the FMCG sector, seeks a Regional Buyer – EMEA Logistics & Warehousing.


As Regional Buyer – EMEA Logistics & Warehousing, you will be responsible for managing warehousing and logistics procurement over 50 operational locations across the EMEA region.


Regional Buyer – EMEA Logistics & Warehousing, Flexible across European Hubs (preference is UK, Portugal or Italy), 100% Remote Working


My client is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced buyer to join a well-renowned global company that is keen to nurture and develop talent in a fast-paced, exciting environment with the support of a close knit, multi-national team.


It is essential that you have a solid understanding of sourcing or strategic procurement within warehousing and/or logistics services. Experience of dealing with 3PL or 4PL is highly advantageous, as is experience of managing a variety of local or regional warehousing, or logistics contracts in different locations.


You will work in a small but dedicated team to ensure that all logistics procurement and supplier management requirements across the EMEA region are delivered successfully. This will involve supporting within procurement strategy at a regional level and assisting with the requirements of operational users. This includes elements of sourcing, supplier management, strategy definition, harmonisation, cost reduction and performance/business improvements.


The successful candidate will therefore be an excellent communicator, with the ability to positively engage multi-national teams, stakeholders and suppliers. Experience of working in a multi-national environment is highly advantageous, but not essential.

Regional Buyer – EMEA Logistics & Warehousing, we are looking for high calibre candidates with the following skillset:

  • Educated to degree or equivalent level
  • Experience of procurement within logistics or purchasing, or experience of working for a 3PL or 4PL provider in an equivalent operational post
  • Experience of dealing directly with suppliers – confident in sourcing, negotiating and managing suppler delivery
  • High level of PC literacy and familiar with digital procurement tools
  • Self-assured and driven professional that enjoys a challenge, is keen to develop their strategic procurement skills and progress within an international environment
