My client, a large global business in the food sector, seeks a Commodity Risk Manager - Agricultural Commodities to lead risk management strategy for a significant global oils portfolio (>1bil USD value).

My client is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced commodity risk manager or trader that can deliver best in class risk management strategy covering price forecasts, market analytics and hedge management.

The successful candidate will have a passion for business, affecting top and bottom-line impact in a high stake, fast-moving environment. You will be a long-term thinker with the ability to analyse both micro and macro trends and to help develop future focused strategies.

Commodity Risk Manager – Agricultural Commodities – Exclusive, Singapore

We are looking for high calibre candidates with the following skillset:

• Skilled in sourcing edible oils and negotiating oil pricing  
• Degree qualified – ideally in a business, economics or finance related field
• Essential that you have experience in trading, risk management or strategic sourcing of edible oils across Asia
• Experience working for or with larger originators across South East Asia is highly desirable
• Understanding of procurement/supply chain or physical trading plus experience in futures, derivatives or paper trading
