Warehouse Management Solution Architect - Exclusive

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Management Solution Architect on behalf of our client, a mid-size FMCG company with a culture that cultivates change and innovation to drive it forward.

It is currently looking to hire a Warehouse Management Solution Architect, based in Barcelona.

The responsibilities of the Warehouse Management Solution Architect will include, but will not be limited to:

• Supporting business units’ requirements, working closely with all business groups and application developers to facilitate the development, design and support business-critical applications in the Warehouse Management/Manufacturing area
• Designing solutions and assisting with resolving issues in a development and production support environment
• Conducting, coordinating and accountable for technical testing, application documentation and system testing, working closely with local and international technical and business groups
• Conducting an evaluation of the computer system architecture, with an emphasis on the design
• Creating and maintaining or enhancing procedures, processes and designs for the Warehouse Management system

Requirements:

• Educational background in Computer Science or other relevant discipline
• Warehouse management system implementations experience is a must, with experience of configurating warehouse management system functionality, and skills in testing and evaluation of new warehouse management system functionality
• Experience with manufacturing and concepts of process order, backflushing, direct goods issue, scrapping
• Solid experience in systems analysis and design, proven ability to identify gaps and improvement opportunities, being able to write specs
• Fluency in English
• Prior experience with SAP Warehouse, SAP IDOC interfaces and Sales Distribution modules is preferred, plus experience with MSSQL interface
• Experience with Warehouse Management Solutions (REFLEX preferred, SAP WM, JDA, etc)
