Production Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Engineer for a remote working position – this role will support numerous manufacturing sites across Europe including Spain, France, Italy and Greece amongst others.

The ideal candidate will be flexible to travel to various manufacturing locations on a regular basis and will support the Production Engineering team on activities related to Chemical Engineering, Washing and Waste/Water Treatment.

This role will be instrumental in building up and establishing engineering and maintenance standards within current as well as new greenfield sites within high-volume manufacturing environments.

Production Engineer – Exclusive, Spain/Remote Working

Key responsibilities of the Production Engineer include:

• Optimize and engage in Chemical Engineering activities related to Washing, Water Treatment and Effluent Treatment
• Build and develop an understanding of material finishing and deliver theoretical and practical training within said area
• Display experience within 2-piece engineering and process knowledge in relation to chemical and/or waste management
• Take ownership of project activity for waste/water treatment processes and related chemical processes such as treatment of material and cleaning
• Encouraging the use of 6 ‘S’ and Lean principles within the production environment

 As Production Engineer, additional requirements include:

• Educated to degree or equivalent level, within Chemical Engineering related discipline
• Previous Engineering experience (preferred in manufacturing environments ideally related to Packaging and/or FMCG, Food and Beverages, or Automotive, 8+ years’ overall experience)
• Strong communication skills when dealing with diverse, international stakeholders
• Fluent in English - any other language would be an advantage
