Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is proud to be working with a market leader within the life science industry, which is looking for a German speaking Compensation & Benefits Manager to join its ever-growing teams.

You will facilitate designing, implementing and maintaining compensation frameworks to attract and retain top talent.

Supporting HR and Senior Manager, the Compensation & Benefits Manager will contribute to the HR strategy and align to strategic objectives.

You will collaborate with managers and be the subject matter expert to advise and guide the Human Resources team on best practice processes.


Compensation & Benefits Manager, Basel, Switzerland


Some key responsibilities for the Compensation & Benefits Manager:

  • Provide guidance on all aspects of reward and associated initiatives and programs
  • Ensuring alignment with company strategy and goals
  • Make recommendations to retain, attract and motivate employees across multiple locations
  • Integration of innovative approaches into HR practices and processes, particularly of the state-of-the-art compensation schemes, in line with relevant benchmarking
  • Designing and revising HR processes and policies, including stakeholder assessment, communications and implementation
  • Providing assistance on global HR projects and initiatives


The ideal Compensation & Benefits Manager will have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management
  • Ideally 3-5 years’ international experience in HR or similar Compensation or Reward roles (preferably in matrix organisations)
  • Proven experience in the design, development and implementation of HR guidelines, processes and policies in international environments
  • Fluent in English, German and French ideally
