Job Description

On behalf of one our international clients, we are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst.

Reporting to the Country Chief Financial Officer, the successful candidate will provide crucial support for analysing financial data and preparing forecasts, budgets and reports.

This will involve significant exposure to country and regional leadership, so the position offers an accelerated learning curve for the right candidate.

The responsibilities of the Financial Analyst are:

• Conduct financial forecasting, reporting and metrics tracking, as well as analyse financial data and build decision-making models
• Prepare reports on financial performance and present them for regular leadership reviews
• Perform variance analysis, identify trends and make recommendations for improvement based on past results
• Collaborate closely with the Finance team to guarantee accurate financial reporting
• Assess financial performance by comparing actual results to plans and forecasts
• Analyse trends and forecasts, and provide optimization recommendations
• Provide comparative analyses, and study proposed changes in methods and materials through data interpretation
• Build and maintain a strong financial analysis foundation by creating forecasts and models

The required skills for the Financial Analyst are:

• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Strong relevant business Finance or related experience
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent problem solving and attention to detail
• English essential – French and previous experience of US/UK companies are advantages
• Business Finance degree/qualification
