Job Description

We are seeking a strong External Financial Reporting Manager (ESG) for a leading multi-national.

In a newly created role, with responsibility for setting up a new function, you will have exposure to senior leadership and ownership of the new ESG reporting strategy.

External Financial Reporting Manager (ESG), Geneva, Switzerland

The main duties of the External Financial Reporting Manager (ESG) are:

• Set-up of ESG reporting for a dual-listed (IFRS/US GAAP) international business - collaboration with senior stakeholders and financial consolidation/reporting departments
• Translating ESG data collected from different BUs and regions into robust “auditable” financial reports for consumption by regulatory authorities
• Developing relationships and processes that ease the ongoing production and compilation of the required data, documentation of these processes, responsibility for their delivery

The main skills required for the External Financial Reporting Manager (ESG) are:

• Background in ESG reporting, strong understanding of audit requirements for listed businesses - ability to set up parameters of, and deliver, a group-wide project
• Strong communication skills, the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels across various cultures, problem-solving and accounting skills, English language
• Excellent documentation and process-building skills, with priority management skills - strong dedication to pushing expert knowledge into a company structure.
