Job Description

We are seeking a Group Reporting Analyst for a large multi-national.

Involved in significant change, you will be exposed to strategic leaders and operational stakeholders throughout the organisation.

There will be a variety of projects for you to deliver, including wholesale system and process upgrades, which are vital to the continuing success of the organisation.

 

Group Reporting Analyst, Geneva, Switzerland

 

The main duties of the Group Reporting Analyst are:

  • Implementation of a new consolidation tool and rescoping the monthly management reporting - this requires engagement with stakeholders to “bring them on the journey”
  • Implementing new processes to management level reporting, e.g. moving statutory to IFRS reporting in general ledger, delivering these projects and consolidated financial statements
  • Continuous improvement – discovering, documenting and improving each process to ensure an easier close month by month, building a comprehensive accounting manual

 

The main requirements of the Group Reporting Analyst are:

  • A deep understanding of group-level consolidation, from either public accounting or the group entity of a multi-national – exposure to reporting tools (SAP BFC/BPC, Cognos), Excel
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to engage stakeholders of all levels and bring them into a new paradigm – change management
  • English language, respect for rolling deadlines, with the ability to improve “in flight”, an interest in working in a project-weighted group consolidation role
