Material Planner

Job Description

Our client, a global market leader in the Life Sciences industry, seeks a Material Planner for their site in Rolle.

As Material Planner, you will focus on the pre-planning activities for the production lines, coordinating with procurement whilst focussing on ensuring continuation of production in respect of the material availability and specifications.

You will review, challenge and improve the inventory reduction measures as well as ensuring achievement of delivery targets OTIF. Operating in a system-based material scheduling environment, you will ensure there are no shortages of materials and that product availability is maintained.

This client is a successful, innovative global business that offers career progression internally into multiple different departments.

Desired Skills and Experience:

As a Material Planner we are looking for high calibre candidates with the following skill sets:

• Educated to Degree or equivalent level
• Fluent in English
• Process optimisation experience and continued improvement of material planning activities
• Circa 2 - 5 years’ experience in production or industrial environment
• Strong analytical skills and experience with scheduling and planning
•  Experience working in the Life Sciences sector is a strong advantage
• High level of PC literacy, with skills in Tableau and ERP systems a strong advantage
