FP&A Analyst

EMEA Recruitment is currently looking for an FP&A Analyst to work for a real estate business in the Amsterdam area.

Our client is a market leader in its industry, with properties across Europe.

FP&A Analyst, Amsterdam, Noord Holland, Netherlands

The role offers the opportunity for a driven Analyst to have involvement in reporting and analysis of Finance results and activities.

Responsibilities of the FP&A Analyst:

• Assisting with the annual budgeting process
• Periodically analysing of actuals vs. budget for the P&L, as well as Capex
• Implementing and performing periodic controls of several processes within the firm (purchase order creation , invoicing, etc.)
• Analysing financial results to review performance of the portfolio
• Ad hoc analyses to assist senior management
• Support Financial Controllers during GAAP/IFRS quarterly reporting

Your profile and soft skills:

• Master’s degree in Finance
• 1-3 years’ experience in performing financial and other data analyses
• Attention to detail
• Fast learner, self-learner
• Have the ability to work under pressure and prioritize activities
• Presentation and communication skills
• Both independent and team player

Required hard skills:

• Proficient in MS Excel
• PowerPoint
• Power Query
• SQL & VBA (would be advantageous)
• Excellent English
