Our international client is seeking a Treasury Back Office Executive to work at its Swiss HQ.
The company is looking for a candidate who can maintain transparency and openness, while achieving high performance.
At the core of the organisation, this role has a clear path to leadership roles. Coming from either a Treasury or Accounting background, the successful candidate will bring an international understanding and a willingness to learn.
The main responsibilities of the Treasury Back Office Executive are:
- Confirming transactions, processing settlements and maintaining controls
- Managing intercompany settlement processes and related postings
- Reconciling bank transactions and ensuring daily movements
- Ensuring accurate accounting and reporting of Treasury transactions
- Maintaining and following group bank accounts and controlling bank fees
- Providing accountable Treasury operations management reporting
- Maintaining and developing the Treasury Management System
- Reviewing processes and controls, ensuring back office operational risks are suitably monitored and managed under strict frameworks
Requirements for the position include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Exposure to Treasury through a Treasury or Accounting position
- Knowledge of Treasury products and processes, including cash forecasting, liquidity management, foreign exchange and specialist hedging
- Good knowledge in Accounting related to trading environments, including understanding of IFRS and local GAAPs
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken - French recommended
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in dynamic working environments
- Ability to work independently, and within fixed and short timeframes
- Knowledge of banking and payment systems, and experience with Swift is a plus
