Job Description

My client, a large global business in the technology sector, seeks a Procurement Specialist – Digitalisation.


As a Procurement Specialist - Digitalisation, you will be responsible for managing the integration and harmonisation of new P2P systems within procurement through a period of wider digital transformation and centralisation.

My client is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to undertake an exciting process transformation, introducing and integrating a new P2P system.


It is essential for this role that you have a solid understanding of procurement processes within a business, ideally from a multi-national or global scale.


You will work closely with both the wider Digitalisation Projects team, including colleagues within Procurement, IT and Finance, and external implementation partners, to achieve optimal system structure and business integration.


The successful candidate will therefore be an excellent communicator, with the ability to positively engage multi-disciplinary teams, and understand and translate technical requirements from various levels within the business. Experience of working in a cross-functional projects team or internally-focused business excellence team would be highly advantageous, as would experience in a matrix environment.

We are looking for high calibre candidates with the following skillset:

  • Educated to degree or equivalent level
  • Indirect procurement or procurement excellence experience is highly beneficial, but we welcome applicants from a direct procurement, procurement analytics or operational procurement background who can demonstrate success within procurement process improvement
  • Experience or knowledge of P2P systems, such as SAP or COUPA from a procurement perspective (either as a user or ideally introducing these systems)
  • High level of PC literacy, able to organise, plan and innovate
  • Naturally inquisitive, with a flair for process design or improvement
