Global Category Manager - Personal Care

My client, in the personal care sector, is looking for a Global Category Manager to oversee direct materials purchasing.

You will manage strategic procurement globally for leading products within the beauty and fine fragrance portfolios.

Global Category Manager – Personal Care, Switzerland – Ideally North

We are looking for candidates with a good foundation within operational procurement or procurement process excellence, with experience of managing a large team, either directly or indirectly.

It is important that you have an understanding of the dynamics of purchasing across both specialist product and bulk commodities. Ideally, you will have had exposure to personal care chemicals and fragrances markets.

The key quality we require is an understanding of managing highly volatile and technically complex portfolios.

We are looking for high calibre candidates with the following skillset:

• Ideally 5+ years’ experience within Direct Procurement – ideally the last 2 years within personal care, fragrance, cosmetics/beauty or similar
• Good level of PC literacy, able to organise, plan and innovate
• Fluent French and advanced English
