Our client, a pioneering manufacturer, is searching for an organised and tenacious Accounting and Controlling Expert to join a well-established team.

The position offers management control and oversight of the entire Swiss market for an industry-leading business.

Accounting and Controlling Expert, Vaud, Switzerland

The role is based at the financial centre of the Swiss business in Canton Vaud, offering excellent exposure to the financial lead and decision-makers. The role offers excellent progression opportunities to the group level.

The ideal candidate will be highly autonomous and display excellent social skills, combined with a rigorous and organized approach.

Main duties and responsibilities for the Accounting and Controlling Expert:

• Supporting the monthly closing and financial statements
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of stocks, VAT and Accounts Receivable
• Lead for cashflow forecasts
• Hands-on regarding revision and preparation of business’ budget
• Maximising the efficiency of the invoicing and collection process
• Maintaining compliance with anti-money laundering regulations
• On an ongoing basis, ensure internal controls and performance criteria are improved.

Experience required for the Accounting and Controlling Expert role:

• Professional qualification in Finance and Accounting and degree in related field
• 5-10 years of experience in Accounting and Controlling for medium to large-scale business
• Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and a recognised ERP
• Excellent analytical skills, social skills and team player
• Fluency in French, German and a good level of English is a must
