Business Analyst - Global Functions - Exclusive

Are you a talented and experienced Financial Analyst with a passion for global business? If so, we are looking for you to join our client’s international Global Finance team!

As a Business Analyst - Global Functions, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise to global function and country leadership.

You will work closely with the team lead to ensure that global activities are properly controlled, and that projects are properly assessed and proposed to the management board for approval. There are optional special projects and evident exposure to the strategic leaders.

The Business Analyst - Global Functions will be responsible for:

• Analysing financial data, and identifying trends and patterns
• Developing and implementing financial plans and budgets, variance – budget vs. actual
• Managing and controlling costs, business partnering with function and country leaders
• Tracking and analysing performance
• Systems improvement (ongoing reporting tools, as well as ERP implementation), FP&A
• Providing financial advice to senior management

The required skills for a Business Analyst - Global Functions are:

• Experience of Finance, Controlling, Business Partnering, preferably FP&A
• The will to learn and a multi-cultural outlook, big picture/detail appreciation
• Adaptability – managing relationships in different departments and at varying seniority levels, Finance for non-Finance stakeholders essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (getting into data)
• Excellent communication and social skills, English language
• Experience with financial systems and tools - D365 an asset
