Senior Accountant

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working exclusively with a global business with a well renowned brand, whose products are distributed globally, achieving a revenue of over 10 billion, in its search for a Senior Accountant.

The Finance Director has asked us to find a motivated, driven Senior Accountant to manage a team of two Accountants, taking full responsibility for periodic accounting and ensuring compliance with (IFRS/OR).

Senior Accountant - Zurich, Switzerland

Senior Accountant tasks:

• Reporting directly to the Finance Director and managing a team of 2 Accountants
• Ensuring monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements comply with (OR/IFRS), being the key contact for audit
• Taking responsibility for budget management, cashflow, cash controlling, bookkeeping, taxes, monthly and annual accounts
• Responsibility for the strategic elements of GL, AR and AP, as well as the continuous automation of processes
• Ensuring the function and constant improvement of the ERP system

Profile:

• Successfully completed business studies, with a focus on Finance/Accounting
• 5+ years of professional experience in Accounting
• Strong knowledge of (OR/IFRS)
• Experience managing or coaching others
