Global CAPEX, MRO & Energy Buyer

Job Description

The Global CAPEX, MRO & Energy Buyer will be responsible for site related spend over 50+ global sites, for a large multi-national within the FMCG sector.

You will support capital purchases, MRO and energy requirements across global manufacturing and distribution sites.

The CAPEX, MRO & Energy Buyer will work with a variety of stakeholders to source site requirements in line with project targets. In this project-based role, you will deliver best-in-class Procurement solutions across a broad portfolio leading sourcing strategy, RFQs and supplier delivery for significant site spends.

Regular requirements will sit within consumables, parts & equipment, energy supply and specialist site services.

The Global CAPEX, MRO & Energy Buyer will be a team player that can identify opportunities for collaboration, but also be independent and proactive with their approach with the ability to lead global strategy and projects.

For the Global CAPEX, MRO & Energy Buyer, we are looking to speak with high calibre candidates with the following skillset:

• Experience working in a production environment
• Experience of the Pharmaceutical, Consumer Care, Fine Fragrance or Food & Beverage sectors would be highly beneficial
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Procurement environment with a significant regional or global remit
• Strong negotiation skills are essential
• Fluent English, additional languages are beneficial
