Strategic Procurement Manager Electronics

German speaking Strategic Procurement Manager Electronics to join its team in Zurich.

The successful applicant will be tasked with key accountabilities, which will include supplier selection, market analysis, and the initiation and conclusion of supplier agreements, with the overall aim of enhancing its Procurement team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of electronic products and components, having previously collaborated with stakeholders such as R&D teams to deliver strategic plans and results.

Working also with internal stakeholders, including Commodity Managers and Engineers, the Strategic Procurement Manager Electronics will be a strong technical leader who can capably engage with developers and other team members as required.

You will also have previous experience and the ability to work on projects focussed on sustainability and cost reduction objectives.

We are looking for a high calibre Strategic Procurement Manager Electronics with the following skillset:

• Educated to degree or equivalent level, ideally in an electronics or engineering-focussed discipline
• Several years’ experience in Purchasing, ideally on an international scale
• Strong technological mindset, holding a genuine interest in electronics and technology
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), plus a strong knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
• Fluent in English and German
