Job Description

EMEA Recruitment are working exclusively with Congo Brands, a US based high-growth company that manages several rapidly growing brands within the beverage sector, initiated and led by high profile individuals within social media.

The company are now establishing an international office in Zug as they expand into Europe and other regions, beginning with the PRIME hydration range.

As the Accounting Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Accounting and Reporting and will be responsible for managing and helping build out the Accounting team based in Zug.

You will overview all technical Accounting and month end close activities for the international office.

This role will initially require a “hands on” and “can do” approach and even when systems and procedures are in place, the rapid expansion will ensure an exciting and fast-paced journey.

Key responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

  • Deliver accurate and timely monthly financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP
  • Provide technical accounting and tax support while delivering accurate and timely statutory and tax reporting in accordance with local requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors to carry out financial statement audits
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Participate in conducting monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and closing procedures to ensure accurate reporting


This Accounting and Controlling Manager position requires high calibre candidates with the following skillsets:


·         High level of analytical skills with a collaborative mindset

·         In-depth Accounting knowledge alongside excellent organizational skills - ability to oversee and advise on all technical accounting aspects

·         Excellent working knowledge of US GAAP

·         Experience developing consistent and replicable internal Accounting processes
