EMEA Recruitment is delighted to be working with one of its well-regarded international clients in the search for a Controller to be situated at their Zug office.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is instrumental in driving the growth and profitability of the company. You will act as a Finance Business Partner and will focus on providing insights and financial analysis.

Controller, Zug, Switzerland.

Within this Controller role, you will be actively involved in budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis and participating in a variety of group-wide projects. Your exposure across the business will reach a variety of departments, resulting in a varied and interesting opportunity.

Key responsibilities as the Controller:

• Support the month-end Group FP&A process (variance analysis)
• Analysis of data providing insights and recommendations to improve overall performance across all departments
• Monthly cost control, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Present financial results and analysis to senior management and other stakeholders
• Be a point of contact for technical support on reporting and planning tools

Ideal profile:

• Ability to think analytically with adept problem solving skills
• Excellent IT knowledge - proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, SAP, Tagetik or similar are considered a plus
• Strong Controlling/Financial Analysis background in an international environment
• High level communication and interpersonal skills
• English fluency is essential with German language skills considered an advantage
