EMEA Recruitment is working with a well-established, international manufacturing and retailing business, with a great brand reputation, in its search for a Treasury Specialist.

Join the team as part of the business’ Corporate function based near Zug.

Reporting to the Treasury Manager, this role will provide cash and liquidity, commodities and FX management for the group functions.

Our client is looking for an outgoing and hands-on candidate to manage the day-to-day Cash, Treasury and Financial Risk Management functions.

Responsibilities of the Treasury Specialist:
 

•   Cash Management:

1. Allocate cash balances, loans, disbursements and investments
2. Look after cashflow, banking, cash pooling, intercompany funding and management of bank accounts.
3. Implement control procedures

• Financing & Investment:

1. Collaborate with other departments as necessary to assess financing needs and implement the best financing approach
2. Manage investment portfolio
3. Close collaboration with Tax and Accounting departments

• Risk Management:

1. Analyse and execute FX and commodity risk, hedging strategy, trade execution and settlement
2. Most appropriate use of trade finance instruments and advise teams on best course of action
3. Work with internal Insurance team and Insurance Brokers to manage risk
4. Integrate working capital solutions into credit risk management

Ideal profile:
 

· Degree/master’s in Finance, Economics or Business

· Several years’ experience within Corporate Treasury

·Strong MS Office knowledge, particularly Excel

· Experience of using SAP, comfortable using technology, e.g. treasury management systems, to automate and streamline processes

· Ability to work well under pressure

· Enthusiastic and self-motivated, great communication and relationship management skills
