Sourcing Director - Exclusive

Job Description

Our client, a growing business in the FMCG sector, seeks a Sourcing Director for its European hub based in Zug to drive forward its strategic growth plans.

As Sourcing Director, you will operate in a senior leadership capacity growing the team, leading the cost management, and packaging and ingredient purchasing strategy for our global beverage client.

Reporting into the Vice President of Operations, the Sourcing Director will manage and develop the sourcing structure and strategy across both raw and pack categories within the European region.

You will ensure risk mitigation and contingency sourcing plans are in place, and work closely with external Manufacturing and Supply Chain departments to ensure continuity.

Our client is offering an excellent opportunity for a proven Procurement professional to grow and lead a team of sourcing managers in various countries across Central Europe.

Evaluating and monitoring existing suppliers across Europe, identifying new potential suppliers, and negotiating and agreeing terms and conditions will be key focal areas.

We are looking for high calibre candidates with the following skillset:

• Ideally 10 years’ experience in management of Procurement processes and activities within food and beverage industry
• Experience of developing a strong supplier base through competent influencing and negotiating
• Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English
