Head of Indirect Procurement

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to speak with an experience Head of Indirect Procurement to be based near Zug.

As a senior people manager, the Head of Indirect Procurement will operate in a strategic leadership capacity, delivering cost reduction and value chain improvement programs through the implementation of best practice and management of Procurement activities for all indirect services categories across the region.

Head of Indirect Procurement , Zug, Switzerland, Remote/Hybrid Working

In this strategic role, you will adopt and drive a continuous improvement mindset, in line with business targets and wider company goals. You will lead a team of Category Managers and oversee the performance of their categories.

You will be proficient in stakeholder management, with the ability to understand wider business needs and communicate with senior and C suite business leaders.

Ideally, you will be comfortable contributing on a commercial level and adapting as the category and wider business goals develop in the future.

As a Head of Indirect Procurement, we are looking for high calibre candidates with the following skillset:

• Ideally 8+ years’ experience in Procurement in a FMCG environment covering Category Management responsibilities
• Ideally 4+ years’ people management experience
• Procurement expert with experience of operating on a regional scale, with a drive to deliver best-in-class purchasing methods
• Previous experience of working within or deep understanding of professional services would be preferred
• Strong influencer, who has the readiness to identify cost reduction opportunities with the aim of achieving service targets with respect to quality, costs and time
• Fluent English
