EMEA Recruitment are working exclusively with a large international client, in its search for a Manufacturing Finance Manager for its site based in Carlisle.

Due to internal promotion, we are seeking a Manufacturing Finance Manager for one of their two UK sites.

A US listed, leading manufacturer in the FMCG industry, with current turnover of $13 billion, located in a beautiful rural town of Carlisle, in the shadow of the Lake District.

Manufacturing Finance Manager – Exclusive, Carlisle, UK

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Finance Manager:

The newly appointed Manufacturing Finance Manager will report into the Plant Director with a dotted reporting line into the UK Finance Director.

You will be a member of the senior leadership team, playing a key role within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting
• Forecasting (mid-month, rolling quarterly)
• Budgeting
• Weekly cashflow forecasting
• Produce financial reports to meet specific requirements of other departments e.g. logistics
• Producing year-end figures/statutory accounts
• Maintain the fixed asset registers and periodically agree these to the physical assets
• Variance analysis
• Ensuring compliance and controls are adhered to, Sarbanes-Oxley
• Managing and development of small finance team, and inventory management colleague

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or qualified by experience, with a strong background in finance management
• Experience gained in a manufacturing or industrial environment would be beneficial

In Return:

• £65,000 + 15% bonus + co. car
• Pension contribution 9%
