Job Description

We’re currently looking for an Associate Consultant to join our UK office in Nottingham.

EMEA Recruitment celebrates its 15th year in business this year, and - with 21 new hires in 2022 alone - the company’s growth sees us moving to much larger premises in Nottingham city centre in 2023.

Our core markets, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, remain extremely buoyant, with record high levels of demand for our services. With a strong foothold in both countries, our reputation has grown from strength to strength, enabling us to build a portfolio of exclusive partnerships with some of the world’s leading multi-nationals.

Our primary objective at EMEA Recruitment remains to find Europe’s best candidates for our clients. This success, now more than ever, depends on us attracting and retaining our top consulting talent. We believe that only these extraordinary people can help our clients to solve their most critical staffing challenges.

EMEA Recruitment GmbH is offering a fantastic opportunity to experience the business of international executive search. Based at our head office in Nottingham, you will gain valuable exposure to foreign markets by working with leading companies across Switzerland, the Netherlands, and, on occasion, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Maybe you are passionate about travel or languages and are a fluent German, French or Dutch speaker? Although not essential, with regular business trips to the Netherlands or Switzerland, we will give you the opportunity to utilise existing language skills or to learn a new one courtesy of our extensive and diverse training programme.

The Associate Consultant role

As an Associate Recruitment Consultant, we will guide and train you to become a leading expert in sourcing top European talent. From Finance, to HR, to Supply Chain and Procurement, you will source mid to senior level candidates for some of Europe's largest and most reputable businesses.

Through our development program, you will follow a schedule that will cover all areas of recruitment, including: relationship management, advanced sales techniques, business development, competency-based interviewing, and research methodologies.

Your future at EMEA Recruitment GmbH isn’t just about developing clients. You will be taking the lead in helping people further their careers, as well as organising interviews, screening candidates, and liaising between candidates and clients as they progress through the interview process. The role will eventually lead to contract negotiation and business development, and ultimately result in you becoming a well-rounded, 360 Consultant with a client portfolio of your own.

Why join EMEA Recruitment?

  • Market-leading base salary, plus industry-leading commission
  • Realistic first year earnings of £30,000-40,000
  • The opportunity to develop a solid career via our progressive pathway from Consultant to Director
