Yoga is a quiet activity that is very calming for Charlotte, helping create a balance between her work and professional life. She enjoys that it is personal and not competitive and has been participating in yoga for the last ten years.

My client, a well-renowned B2C business, is looking for a Buyer - Raw Materials  & Finished Goods to be based out of its Basel office.

Key responsibilities for the Buyer – Raw Materials & Finished Goods:

  • Manage strategic Procurement globally for raw materials and finished goods within a consumer goods setting

  • Supporting/directing operational Procurement or Procurement processes within the wider team

  • Managing strategic Procurement, such as sourcing, managing RFQs, negotiations, contracting and vendor management

It is important that you have an understanding of the dynamics of purchasing direct materials, including finished goods and commodities.
   
For the Buyer - Raw  Materials & Finished Goods, we are looking for high calibre candidates with the following skillset:

  • Educated to degree or equivalent level

  • Ideally 3+ years’ experience within Procurement or Sourcing

  • Good level of PC literacy, utilising Microsoft tools and ERP system

  • Ability to organise, plan and innovate within the Procurement & Supply Chain function
