• You will be responsible for engaging with business stakeholders across the business to gather business requirements to develop global common and locally fitted business processes design
• Achieve process integration with both up and downstream processes including architectural considerations, developing a deep understanding of how business processes, functionalities and technical design fit with business requirements
• Work closely with global and local process owners and subject matter experts to manage wider change activities related to the project (e.g. training)

• Strong knowledge of the SAP environment (ideally Ariba and S4 HANA)
• Prior experience within Procurement or Supply Chain or transformation projects would be highly desirable

My client, a leading OEM, is looking to recruit a Purchasing Manager - Electronics & Control Systems
to assist with the purchasing of electronic manufacturing services.
This is a global position managing the strategic procurement and category strategy for all electronic manufacturing services purchasing.
Your responsibilities as the Purchasing Manager – Electronics & Control Systems:

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs – this includes technical departments and R&D to assess and source relevant suppliers for current and upcoming projects/products
• Work closely with a select set of specialist EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) suppliers to translate business needs accurately and understand the potential to collaborate
• End-to-end procurement covering sourcing, negotiating and contracting within the EMS field for turnkey lots right through to supplier relationship management within delivery and under warranty, plus scoping the market for R&D/innovation partnerships
