Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is exclusively working with an international client in its search for a Finance Manager to join their team in Brussels, Belgium.  

In this role, you will work closely with the Deputy Site Director to define the department's direction and introduce strategic initiatives aimed at improving performance, while maintaining seamless communication with all operational departments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate reporting of KPIs and relevant information to operations management and customers.

This position provides the chance to work closely with a globally recognized company, gaining valuable experience in customer service and logistics.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:
  • Complete the Group's reporting (IFRS), ensuring figures accuracy among different reporting systems and currencies
  • Supervise accounting-related activities
  • Budget preparation, objectives and ensuring proper monitoring in Power BI
  • Main point of contact for internal and external audits
  • Assisting management, and commercial team with cost breakdown and financial analysis
Experience required:
  • 7-10+ years of practical experience, preferably in a logistics environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills – the ability to think objectively and derive meaningful insights from quantitative data
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power BI
  • Effective communication and social skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English and French
