  You will manage multiple purchasing categories: IT, Facilities, HR, Real Estate, Consultancy, Travel.
  
  Responsibilities of the Procurement Officer:

  • Act as a business partner for internal clients to identify purchase needs
  • Advice internal clients on existing procedures, policies and processes related to Procurement
  • Create and prepare purchase specifications, RFI’s, RFP’s
  • Able to perform market research, sourcing projects and, if necessary, work with external partners to achieve optimized results
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers (price, quality, ESG etc.); liaise with external partners if required
  • Cooperate with the Legal department on contracting of suppliers and jointly negotiate agreements
  • Monitor “Procure to Pay” processes and liaise with the Accounts Payable department to ensure proper administration and supplier onboarding (including Vendor Due Diligence)
  • Monitor existing contracts and ensure timely extension/termination, manage and update contract data in the Contract Management System
  • Align with internal clients to ensure supplier quality/performance by the client (Supplier Management)
  • Manage the yearly targeted Procurement goals
  • Manage Procurement policies, processes and templates
  • Manage and nurture relationships with vendors
  • Manage the Procurement Risk & Compliance framework

  
  Your profile:

  • 5-10 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in managing a diverse portfolio of spend categories
  • Business acumen and seasoned buying skills
  • Proven negotiation skills and influencing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong professional networks, including external markets and internal teams
  • Highly service-oriented team player with strong organizational skills, who supports demanding clients in a professional manner
  • Open-minded, flexible, proactive, independent, being able to multi-task
  • Trustworthy, discrete, and respectful with cultural awareness, etiquette and diplomacy as shown by experience handling discrete matters and figures
  • Excellent MS Office (O365) user; knowledge of MS Dynamics and PowerBI is a plus
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), fluent in German will be considered to be an asset
  • Able to perform on a tactical and strategic level
  • Hands-on, understand that operational tasks are part of the job

  My client, an international food and beverages business, is recruiting a Category Manager – Primary Packaging. You will support their Procurement team with sourcing a variety of packaging materials and solutions for food and beverages.
  
  As Category Manager – Primary Packaging, you will manage a variety of subcategories. We are open to applicants with experience of purchasing raw materials for packaging production or purchase of externally manufactured packaging solutions.
  
  Experience of high interest will be flexibles, plastics, films and board products.
  
  We are looking for a high-calibre candidate with the following skillset and experience:

  • Ideally educated to degree or equivalent level
  • Ideally 4+ years of experience in Procurement at a strategic level
  • Experience managing packaging procurement within the last 2 years, ideally within food ingredients
  • Experience in the purchasing of primary packaging solutions or raw materials for primary packaging would be highly desirable
  • Strong negotiator with previous experience leading key supplier negotiations
  • Must have proven experience in sourcing within Europe
  • Fluent English is essential – Dutch is beneficial

  My client, a large organisation with significant distribution networks across Europe, is looking for a Category Manager – Freight & Shipping to manage the procurement of ocean freight solutions.
  
  As Procurement Manager – Freight & Shipping, you will manage contracts with shipping lines and ocean freight providers to ensure the optimal delivery of client products and raw materials travelling by sea.
  
  We are looking for a high-calibre candidate with the following skillset and experience:

  • Ideally educated to degree or equivalent level
  • Ideally 2+ years experience specifically negotiating ocean freight contracts or managing the delivery of ocean freight providers/contracts
  • Experience managing contract compliance within logistics contracts
  • Operational experience in purchasing of ocean freight or container shipping or negotiating with shipping lines
  • Strong problem solver with previous experience managing through SC disruptions is highly desirable, ability to create alternative source strategies in time critical scenarios is essential
  • Excellent data analytics
  • Must have proven experience in the sourcing and active management of logistics solutions providers
  • Fluent English is essential – any other languages beneficial
