Reporting Accountant

EMEA Recruitment is proud to support a well-established biotech business in the Leiden area in its search for a Reporting Accountant.

This is a unique opportunity for an Accountant to step up and take on further responsibility within a dynamic and rapidly expanding business.

This position will suit someone proactive and self-driven with good social skills and a strong technical mindset.

Hybrid working is available for this position.

The main duties of the Reporting Accountant are:

• Accurate monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
• Maintain the financial records and GL
• Monitor intercompany accounting
• Oversee AP, VAT and AR optimisation and reporting
• Work with the finance manager on process improvement projects

The skills required for the Reporting Accountant are:

• 4+ years' experience in financial accounting in international organisations
• Experience with Dutch GAAP and US GAAP
• Fluent English and the ability to read and write Dutch is crucial
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Strong ERP knowledge (Exact experience is a plus)
