Process Expert - Accounting

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is once again working exclusively with a leading manufacturing business that designs, manufactures, builds and installs state-of-the-art equipment for a variety of worldwide clients.

Working for a dynamic and rapidly expanding business, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Process Expert (Accounting) to be a subject matter expert whilst playing a crucial role in the business improving global accounting processes.

This position will suit someone with a track record in executing finance and accounting process improvement projects. In return, you will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package and flexible working arrangements in an organisation where the well-being of staff is a key topic of discussion.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To work as part of a multi-cultural team leading and managing accounting process improvement projects for global sites

  • Stakeholder management and risk mitigation working across multi-disciplined teams - finance, sales, operations, project controllers, compliance and treasury

  • Looking at new technologies and to automate accounting processes and procedures

  • Introduce a new and improved accounting process for cash management (AP, AR)

  • Other project improvements include invoicing schedules and Lead 2 Cash (L2C) in line with IFRS and J-Sox

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in Accounting Processes, as a Accounting Process Expert, Finance Project Lead or a related role

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is preferred

  • The ideal applicant will have a sound knowledge of Treasury/Multicurrency (Forex)

  • A demonstrable track record in delivering Finance & Accounting process improvement projects

  • Fluent in English and ideally Dutch
