Our client, an established international player offering traditional and trend-led consumer goods to a dynamic market, is currently seeking an Associate Manager Statutory & Tax.

We are looking for an Associate Manager Statutory & Tax to join its diverse and friendly team in Noord Holland.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Associate Manager Statutory & Tax professional with a hands-on management approach to be part of an organisation that values work-life balance.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing the preparation of reporting requirements across 15 statutory entities in the group
  • Assist management across decisions by providing input on VAT and CIT, as well as other ad-hoc financials
  • Month-end reviews of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Managing the organisation’s complex Tax structure and advising where required
  • Internal and external audit management
  • Coordinating ATAD reporting and transfer pricing studies across entities
  • Supporting and coaching external teams
  • Stakeholder management
  • Perform business controls both internally and externally, such as month-end SOX controls
Relevant experience and qualifications:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Accounting and/or Tax with prior experience of managing statutory audits
  • Solid understanding of US and Dutch GAAP
  • International FMCG or retail industry background
  • Good knowledge of intracompany transactions, loan hedges, CIT handling and international VAT
  • CPA or RA qualification
  • Fluent in English – both written and spoken
  • Strong Dutch language proficiency preferred for communicating with the Dutch and Belgian authorities
