We’re working exclusively with a technology company going through a significant growth period in its search for an Accountant.

You will join a newly created finance centre of excellence in the EMEA HQ, responsible for the financial reporting of the NetherlandsGermany, and the UK.

Responsibilities of the Accountant:

  • Oversee accounts receivable process and monitor customer payments, including credit collections of overdue payments
  • Manage accounts payable process, including reviewing and processing vendors invoices and employees’ expenses
  • Maintain accurate general ledger records, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
  • File and remit VAT taxes and other financial obligations
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller on month-end activities, such as reconciliation and monthly review budget to actuals
  • First point of contact with the country offices and HQ, working closely with Italy, France, Israel, Sweden/Finland, and Spain
  • Take an active role in improving efficiency and quality of the accounting processes

Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance or similar
  • 3 years’ experience in similar role, ideally with experience in supporting the 3 entities of focus (NL, DE, UK)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably one other language
  • Ability to work in a team, as well as alone
  • Communicative, eager to learn and create impact
  • Practical attitude, strong communication skills with a pro-active demeanour

  • Associate Director - Finance - Exclusive

    We are looking for a natural leader, managing a diverse and international team of Financial Analysts.
     
    As part of this role - where you report to the Director of the organisation - you will manage and assist the team with all the activities that ensure proper obsolescence reserves are in place for inventories globally.
