EMEA Recruitment is working with a large and transforming international business to recruit a HR Director for their location in the Netherlands, which has c1000 employees.
The organisation is focused on the evolution of its employee value proposition, developing a great culture and becoming an employer of choice.
The role is part of the management team and leads a HR function that includes HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll and Talent Development.
Responsibilities of HR Director:
Establish a HR action plan, monitoring this against HR milestones
Lead and coach a sizeable HR team
Ensure effective execution of HR strategy across recruitment, reward, HR operations, and talent development
Lead succession and talent management within the business
Drive performance management processes
Manage relationships with works councils and unions
Support EVP project delivery
Significant experience operating in a HR management role in an industry with both blue/white collar workforce
Experience dealing with works councils/unions
In-depth knowledge of Dutch labor law
Strong change management expertise
High level of resilience
Approachable leader with coaching style
Fluent in Dutch and English
