Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with a large and transforming international business to recruit a HR Director for their location in the Netherlands, which has c1000 employees.

The organisation is focused on the evolution of its employee value proposition, developing a great culture and becoming an employer of choice.

The role is part of the management team and leads a HR function that includes HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll and Talent Development.

Responsibilities of HR Director:

• Establish a HR action plan, monitoring this against HR milestones
• Lead and coach a sizeable HR team
• Ensure effective execution of HR strategy across recruitment, reward, HR operations, and talent development
• Lead succession and talent management within the business
• Drive performance management processes 
• Manage relationships with works councils and unions
• Support EVP project delivery 

Experience required:

• Significant experience operating in a HR management role in an industry with both blue/white collar workforce
• Experience dealing with works councils/unions
• In-depth knowledge of Dutch labor law
• Strong change management expertise
• Commercially minded
• High level of resilience 
• Approachable leader with coaching style
• Fluent in Dutch and English
