Job Description

My client, an international food and beverages business, is recruiting a Category Manager – Food Ingredients. Based at my client's head office, you will support their procurement team with sourcing food ingredients.

As Procurement Manager – Food Ingredients, you will manage Procurement for soft commodity subcategories. This will include products within sugar, dairy, cocoa etc.

We are looking for a high-calibre candidate with the following skillset and experience:
  • Ideally educated to degree or equivalent level
  • Ideally 4+ years of experience in Procurement at a strategic level
  • Experience managing raw materials procurement within the last 2 years, specifically within food ingredients
  • Experience in physical trading or procurement of soft commodities would be highly desirable
  • Strong negotiator with previous experience leading key supplier negotiations
  • Must have proven experience in sourcing within volatile markets for high-value transactions
  • Fluent English is essential - other languages are beneficial
