  • Associate Director - Finance - Exclusive

    We are looking for a natural leader, managing a diverse and international team of Financial Analysts.
     
    As part of this role - where you report to the Director of the organisation - you will manage and assist the team with all the activities that ensure proper obsolescence reserves are in place for inventories globally.

    Responsibilities of the Associate Director – Finance:
    • Manage and provide direction to a team of 4 Finance professionals
    • Perform accounting activities for inventory obsolescence reserves in line with US GAAP
    • Review of accounting discards and accurate reporting within internal reporting design for all regions
    • Complete the monthly close functions with respect to IQV, which ensures inventory reserves are recorded timely within the appropriate close deadlines
    • Provide accurate and timely support to business partners, addressing functional stakeholder inquiries
    • Advise and assist senior management in business decisions
    • Maintain the control environment at the highest standard and participate in various internal and external audits
    • Identify and follow up on process improvement from an end-to-end scenario
    • Maintain and reconcile inventory account balances related to the business processes between the general ledger and SAP to ensure alignment for all regions
    Experience required:
    • Bachelor\'s or master’s degree in Finance/Business/Administration/Economics
    • Minimum of 5-10 years of demonstrated experience in Finance roles
    • Experience within manufacturing Finance is a plus
    • Proven strong people management skills and ability to build a high-performance organisation
    • Strong stakeholder management skills and can simplify complex concepts

  • Senior Accountant
    €50,000-60,000 including a holiday allowance + competitive benefits package + hybrid working

    For one of our well-established medical technology clients based in the Randstad, we are seeking an Accountant to manage the accounting processes for all my clients’ European entities.

    Working in a dynamic and rapidly expanding business, this is a unique opportunity for an Accountant to develop their career and take on more responsibility and recognition, as well as gain exposure to strategic Finance.

    This position will suit someone who is proactive, self-driven and has good social skills, with a strong technical mindset.

    Hybrid working (two days in the office and three days from home) is available for this position.

    The main duties of the Accountant:

    • Manage the accounting and bookkeeping for all European entities
    • Complete the financial statements for senior management
    • Assist with the month/quarterly/annual closing
    • Manage booking to local tax law
    • Support the group reporting
    • Assist external audits
    • Prepare income tax for Dutch entities

    The skills required for the Accountant:

    • To be based in the Netherlands
    • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Finance
    • Dutch GAAP and IFRS proficient
    • 3+ years’ experience as an Accountant
    • Dutch tax knowledge
    • Strong Excel knowledge
    • SAP knowledge (preferable)

  • FP&A Analyst
    Up to €70,000 + extensive benefits + hybrid working

    EMEA Recruitment is pleased to be working exclusively with a multi-national electronics organisation searching for an FP&A Analyst to join their Finance team.

    You will manage the operational expenses and Net Working Capital with the different stakeholders, supporting various countries and departments.

    Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Monthly reporting process to Global Finance; provide financial close support and ensure timely reporting in consolidation system
    • Financial statement review and variance analysis
    • Providing timely, accurate management information to the stakeholders
    • Partner with function leaders by providing insights, challenging results where needed
    • Corporate Financial Budget and Forecast process for EMEA region
    • Provides standard and ad hoc reporting and analysis on all aspects of the business
    • Initiates and supports business improvement projects
    • Performs ROI analysis on proposed changes
    • Cooperates with Shared Service transactional processing and General Ledger Accounting teams to safeguard accurate and consistent accounting
    • Maintenance & compliance with procedures and looking for process improvements

    Experience required:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or similar
    • 3 years of experience in an international Controlling function
    • Knowledge and experience with Operations and Supply chain
    • Experience with managing net working capital
    • Experience using ERP and associated reporting systems (SAP, BI, Qlik)
    • Accurate, team player, strong sense of responsibility
    • Curiosity and willingness to learn the company’s business
    • Strong interpersonal skills
