Job Description

My client, an international manufacturing business, is recruiting a
Senior Category Manager – Chemicals. You will support their Procurement team with the sourcing of chemicals on a global scale.

As a Senior Category Manager – Chemicals, you will manage a variety of chemical subcategories with significant spend in olefins and aromatics.

We are looking for a high-calibre candidate with the following skillset and experience:
  • Ideally educated to degree or equivalent level
  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in Procurement at a strategic level
  • Experience managing chemicals procurement within the last 2 years
  • Experience in chemicals purchasing covering bulk, commodity or petrochemicals categories
  • Strong negotiator with previous experience leading high value negotiations
  • Sourcing experience in the EMEA region is essential
  • Fluent English is essential – other languages beneficial
