Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with a growing manufacturing company that is searching for a Director of Business Control to join its Skellefteå office.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the leadership team, overseeing business control, project control, financial control, and local operations, while also managing external financing requirements.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing operation, leading finance initiatives in a high-paced environment with a focus on driving excellent processes and supporting the company's mission in the energy transition.

Key responsibilities of the Director of Business Control:
  • Maintaining perspective on financing, spend, profitability, and working capital to ensure sustainable value creation
  • Collaborating in the review and refinement of business cases, budgets, and forecasts to support overall strategy
  • Cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders across manufacturing, local leadership teams, and the broader finance team
  • Serving as a business partner to the manufacturing management team, overseeing all aspects of the company’s future production operations in Skellefteå

Your profile:
  • 10+ years' experience in Finance, including roles in production controlling, with a track record of leadership
  • Sector-specific expertise in manufacturing or related production industries
  • Confidence and adeptness in fostering robust working relationships with commercial and technical teams
  • Effective communication skills and experience leading cross-functional project teams
