Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with a well-established sustainable food company. We are searching for an Internal Control Specialist to join our client's Malmö office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments to enhance business processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and contributing to the improvement of the governance, internal control, and risk management framework.

Key responsibilities of the Internal Control Specialist:

  • Conduct assessments to enhance business processes and ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and financial projects
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in SOX controls and contribute to the development of internal control policies and procedures
  • Deliver internal control training sessions and provide ongoing support to stakeholders


Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, or equivalent
  • Previous experience in audit firm or international public company settings, preferably with exposure to US Stock exchange listed companies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across various teams
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a proven track record of documenting processes accurately and advocating for improvements
