Financial Controller

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with an international manufacturing business in Aargau, in its search for a Financial Controller.

Reporting to the Head of Group Accounting, this is a significant role within the group accounting and reporting team that will allow you to liaise with international teams across the group.

Duties of the Financial Controller will include:

• Supporting the monthly, half-yearly, and year-end closing in accordance with IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER
• Preparing and presenting the monthly results/analysis for executive management/board
• Responsible for intercompany reconciliations during month-end closing
• Be a point of contact for accounting issues/queries
• Collaborating with the internal audit team including supporting M&A activities

The ideal candidate:

• Accountant with several years of experience in a group accounting and reporting role within an international environment
• Proficiency in IFRS and Swiss GAAP GER
• Fluent English is required
• German language skills are advantageous
