My client is a leading, multi-national, industrial company, dedicated to excellence and innovation in its field.

As part of its planned growth and forward-looking strategy, the business is seeking a talented and driven Senior Controlling Manager to join its team near Basel. 

The role will report to the CFO, with a small team and play a key role helping to drive a business partnering culture in the business

As a Senior Controlling Manager, your role will include:

• Act as a sparring partner to operational colleagues, challenging the status quo to drive growth and efficiency
• Budget and forecast for the Swiss manufacturing operations
• Capital expenditure planning process, optimizing resource allocation
• Provide forward-looking, data-driven financial analysis to identify opportunities for improved profitability and assist business growth
• Manage the periodic financial closing process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• A range of ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• Proven track record of successes in a similar role within a multi-national industrial environment
• Demonstrated ability to add value to relationships outside of Finance, showcasing a strong commercial orientation
• Excellent analytical skills, leveraging data to identify gaps and opportunities for efficiencies
• Fluency in German and English
