Job Description

Our client is a thriving player in the online entertainment sector. It is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) responsible for overseeing all financial management aspects, spanning from Accounting to extensive investment and banking operations, along with interactions with the Stock Exchange, auditors, and other relevant third-party entities.

In this role, you will work closely with the CEO, acting as a key advisor, contributing to strategy development, preparing quarterly and annual group reports, and managing risk across the group of companies.

Key responsibilities of the CFO include:

• Supervise and manage Accounting, Tax, and Financial Operations
• Prepare the company for an initial public offering (IPO)
• Collaborate with external advisors and institutions
• Establish effective reporting procedures
• Drive financial planning, annual budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Execute risk management strategies
• Determine investment approaches
• Oversee fundraising plans and capital structure

Qualifications & requirements:

• Extensive background in Accounting or Finance with an advanced Business degree
• Holding a CPA designation is a significant advantage
• Prior experience in investment banking is a valuable asset
• Profound knowledge of IFRS, Swiss accounting and taxation practices
• In-depth familiarity with Swiss corporate financial law and risk management principles
• Fluency in both German and English is required
