EMEA Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Key Account Manager to join a growing biofuels company and be part of its growth in Europe.

Responsibilities of the Senior Key Account Manager:
  • Support a Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) business in the European region to drive sales growth and maximize profitability, while supporting company growth strategy and exceeding targets
  • Own customer relationships to create and maintain stickiness
  • Manage sales process from proposal, customer agreements, order management, delivery/operation arrangement and payment collection
  • Explore business opportunities to develop new markets in response to energy transition requirement
  • Develop and strengthen business relationships and network with international buyers and traders
  • Conduct regular market research/analysis and maintain industry relationships to stay abreast of market trends, competitive actions, policy developments, and sustainability requirements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, e.g. Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Sustainability, to ensure cargo trade or deliveries, and associated financials are well-planned and smoothly executed

Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering or a related field
  • 5-10 years of business development experience in the oil & gas, energy trading, biofuels or airline sales and marketing industry
  • High level of awareness of compliance and internal control
  • Basic risk analysis and management, hedging, economic evaluation, financial, credit and accounting knowledge of energy trading businesses
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous 
  • Willingness to travel, up to 25% of the time
  • Knowledge of biofuels business and sustainability frameworks is a plus
